Product information
About Odine
Odine contains olopatadine, an antihistamine that also stabilises mast cells. It blocks the effect of histamine, the substance that causes itching and redness in allergy.
Odine eye drops are used to relieve itching of the eyes caused by allergic conjunctivitis.
Odine is a sterile eye drop for use in the eye only, as advised by a doctor.
How to use
Use Odine exactly as your doctor has told you.
- The usual dose is one drop in each affected eye once a day.
- Wash your hands first. Tilt your head back, pull the lower eyelid down gently and put the drop in the pocket formed, then close the eye for a moment.
- If you use other eye drops, wait at least 5 minutes between each medicine. Do not let the tip of the bottle touch the eye or anything else.
- Do not wear contact lenses while your eyes are red. After putting in a drop, wait at least 10 minutes before inserting contact lenses.
Use the bottle only if the seal is intact. Do not use Odine to treat eye irritation caused by contact lenses.
